During the last lockdown, some creative ideas and above all technical innovations were actively implemented. Now the two attractions are ready to open their doors again with renewed vigor and give guests a warm welcome!

New station at Time Travel: “Painting in Vienna” – Klimt, Schiele, Kokoschka
The anteroom of the Waltz Hall has been redesigned on the theme of “Viennese Modernism”, with the main protagonists Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and Oskar Kokoschka. Take a look inside the artists “studios and find out more about the painters” careers and their creative work. Ernst Fuchs, Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Gottfried Helnwein are also featured. Take your own personal souvenir photo in the studio with life-size figures of Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele. The new station offers four different photo points.

New panorama: “Vienna by night” in the Time Travel Kutschenride room

A great panoramic picture of Vienna on which the most important sights of Vienna such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Giant Ferris Wheel and the Danube Tower are clearly recognizable was photographed with perfect clarity and a wall print was produced that now adorns the back wall of the Kutschenride room.

In an indoor entertainment venue, there are seats for rides with red upholstery and black trim in front of a mural with a cityscape under colorful lighting.

Photopoint with new life-size figure of Hans Moser – “Hallo Dienstmann”

Time Travel has a new addition. Professor Gerlinde Stelzer has lovingly handcrafted a new life-size figure of the legendary Hans Moser in the role of the servant from the film “Hallo Dienstmann” with Paul Hörbiger and Hans Moser. He is ready for a snapshot with his guests!

Photopoint with Sisi and Franz – Now new at Sisi’s Amazing Journey

The photo point with two life-size figures was moved from Time Travel to Sisi’s Amazing Journey and provided with a beautiful background image of Sisi, Franz and their children.

All wall designs at Sisi’s Amazing Journey have been renewed

In addition to the movie about Sisi’s life and the VR-Boatrides, you can find out all the highlights of Sisi’s life and her personal preferences on the new wall designs. Among other things, the themes were: Getting to know Franz Josef in Bad Ischl, Sisi’s children, her wedding, the cult of beauty, her preference for travel and her transformation into a self-confident young empress have been restaged. In the movie theater you will find a collection of various photos of Sisi as a picture gallery.

New, integrated headsets for VR glasses at Sisi’s Amazing Journey

From now on, customers can conveniently and easily pull the VR glasses with new, integrated Sennheiser headsets off the overhead mounts themselves. All it takes is a flick of the wrist and you are immersed in a virtual world of Sisi’s journey through Vienna.

Three theater spotlights hang on cables above the wooden seats and are directed at a large, circular, blue-black structured background on the left. The scene is reminiscent of a stage or an auditorium.

Privacy curtains between the boat rides and the exhibition

All boat rides are equipped with privacy curtains so that you can experience the boat ride undisturbed and authentically experience the fantasy world of the ride.
